Home Visiting

Supporting parents from pregnancy through age five

Parenting is full of meaningful moments, new challenges, and important milestones. Tobosa’s free Home Visiting Program partners with families from pregnancy through age five, providing personalized support, practical guidance, and trusted resources to help children and families thrive.

For more than four decades, Tobosa has been part of the southeastern New Mexico community. Our home visitors meet families where they are, offering support that fits their goals, routines, and everyday lives. Through regular visits and ongoing encouragement, parents and caregivers gain tools and confidence to support their child’s development and strengthen their family’s well-being.

Our goal is simple: help families feel confident, supported, and connected during the early years that lay the foundation for lifelong growth.

This program is for families who:

  • Are expecting a child
  • Have children from birth to age five
  • Want guidance with parenting, routines, or child development
  • Are navigating life transitions or stressful situations
  • Would benefit from additional resources and community connection

What We Offer

  • Personalized Home Visits designed around your family’s needs, goals, and routines
  • Parent Coaching that supports bonding, play, communication, and everyday interactions
  • Practical Guidance to help families navigate challenges and support healthy development
  • Emotional Support and strategies for managing stress and strengthening family well-being
  • Community Connections that link families to health, education, and other local resources

Our Approach

At Tobosa, we believe strong relationships create strong foundations for children and families.

Our Home Visiting Program is built on trust, respect, and collaboration. We meet families where they are and provide support that honors each family's experiences, culture, strengths, and goals.

Through regular home visits, personalized coaching, and ongoing encouragement, we help parents and caregivers build the knowledge, confidence, and skills they need to support their child’s growth. Most importantly, families don't have to navigate these early years alone. Tobosa is here to walk alongside you every step of the way.

REVIEW

Clients' thoughts about Tobosa

In this section, you will hear from parents who have built confidence, strengthened parenting skills, and created a positive home environment through personalized guidance, resources, and encouragement from our dedicated team.

I appreciate how well they handle my child. It taught me how to understand how to handle my son and what was going on with him at the time. We communicate better since starting the program.

I appreciate Home-Visiting for many reasons, but the top on the list by far has to be how our sweet Ana always takes time to ask how I(mom) am doing, feeling, and getting by. You can just feel that the questions come from a genuine person who has our best interests in mind. Home visiting has supported my relationship with my children by guiding and providing me with resources and education on becoming and having a stronger relationship with my children. The biggest change that I have noticed since starting with the Home visiting program has been to learn how to advocate for myself and my children, ask for help when needed, and create a positive environment for them.
